In the heart of Kigali, Rwanda, a ground-breaking Institution- African School of Governance is set to launch next week – it’s single mission: raise a NextGen Afrikan Leaders that will transform Africa by taking action, not just talking action! I’m proudly associated, glad to be part of the team involved on behalf of Mastercard Foundation and grateful to HE Paul Kagame and HE Hailemariam Desalegn, former Prime Minister of Ethiopia for their visionary leadership in founding the school whose time has come. Africa’s young people have said, clearly, that their no. 1 need is access to work opportunities that they see as dignified and fulfilling. Creating such work opportunities will require that the right policies are not only in place, but are also decisively implemented. This milestone will require a set of a new crop of African leaders to drive this policy shift and lead the needed practice. In this regard, who will lead Africa will really matter! African School of Governance – ASG seeks to answer this pivotal question of: who will lead Africa? Learn more: https://asg.ac/
