Congratulations to AfCFTA Youth Advisory Council
Three years ago, the Independent Continental Youth Advisory Council for the African Continental Free Trade Area (ICOYACA) was launched at the East African Community (EAC) headquarters by His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, former hashtag#Presidente of the United Republic of Tanzania, on November 9, 2021, during the YouLead Africa Summit, under the guidance and administration of YouLead Africa, the MSTCDC, the GIZ African Union Office and in the presence of members of the AfCFTA Secretariat and other distinguished partners.
Since its inauguration, the hashtag#Conselho has been instrumental in hashtag#promoção meaningful youth engagement in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) through its hashtag#capítulos through initiatives such as:
-AfCFTA Youth Engagement Series
–hashtag#Youth Engage Series
–hashtag#Masterclass trainings
-AfCFTA Youth hashtag#Day
–hashtag#Bootcamps
-AfCFTA Youth
-Peace and hashtag#Security Project
– AFRO-EURO Youth Trade and hashtag#Economic Integration Experience Exchange hashtag#Forum, a program aimed at its young people in hashtag#diáspora, among other projects.
Among all these efforts, her contribution to the development of the Women and Youth in Trade Protocol stands out, where she participates significantly in the development of the Protocol from the initial phase to the final project that was eventually adopted by the 37th Ordinary Session of the hashtag#Assembleia of Heads of hashtag#Estado and hashtag#Governo of the African hashtag#União in February #2024. Through these efforts, it has equipped more than 100,000 hashtag#africanos and hashtag#global youth with knowledge about hashtag#ZCLCA and has seen greater youth involvement in hashtag#intra -African trade.
It is worth noting that, for Angola, the ICOYACA Angola has been working on finding hashtag#parceiros for its effective implementation starting from the beginning of #2025.
