At the Pathways to Peace: African Youth Convention on the AfCFTA, Peace and Security, I had the privilege of walking Hon. Amongi Betty Ongom (MP), Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, Government of Uganda, through the exhibition stalls.
It was a proud moment as we listened to the stories of young innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers, and witnessed firsthand how they are harnessing opportunities to drive Africa forward.
These exhibitions are more than just displays—they are powerful spaces for engagement, where ideas meet action, challenges are addressed, and partnerships are forged. I’m proud that the AfCFTA Youth Advisory Council continues to create platforms that connect leaders with the next generation of trailblazers.
A special thank you to Nakato BarbieNLP for expertly coordinating the stalls, ensuring every exhibitor had their moment to shine.
